First time visit from out of state and I had a great experience! The Texas Skillet, which included corned beef hash, was delicious and came in generous portions. The country fried steak was perfectly cooked and just as satisfying, and the chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. The service was friendly, and our food came out quickly, making the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to when I visit Indiana again.

Great spot fabulous menu/ array of dishes & prices can't be beat. old Denny's type seating, just fine. Gravy actually has sausage in it (a lot of places have cut down the sausage to gravy ratio to near nothing, not here, great proportion Can't wait till they get deviled eggs on the menu.

Nick’s Patio is a staple for all college students in south bend. It is reasonably priced with generous portions. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. The service is fast. If you are passing through South Bend or staying there for a couple of days, you must visit this all-American diner. It is open 24 hours! And if you love the food, you can show your love by purchasing a commemorative T-shirt

This is my first time to Nick's Patio. I've lived in the area (slightly North) my whole life, drove by a million times. And let me say, beat diner experience I've had in a very long time. I ordered a skillet. Next time, I was t to order a lunch item. The menu is huge! The service is amazing. The atmosphere is exactly what one wants in a diner. If you're in South Bend, run don't walk to Nick's Patio.
